Booking changes

Permitted prior to departure for changes to the same class, same fare, same route of travel, regardless of the number of journeys/fare components changed.

Booking change fee

No change fee.

Additional fare difference

Payable when the same booking class or fare is not available or not selected.

Payable (unless changing online).

Booking cancellations

Fully refundable if you originally purchased a flexi fare and cancel before departure. If you have upgraded to a flexi fare from a non-flexible fare after the original ticket purchase, only the upgraded portion is eligible for a refund unless otherwise required by law².

No shows

Refundable with $100 cancellation fee¹ if booking is cancelled or changed after departure.

Name changes

Not permitted.

Airpoints™ & Status Points

Eligible for Airpoints Dollars™ unless booked in F class or purchased with Airpoints Dollars.
Eligible for Status Points unless purchased with Airpoints Dollars.

Carry-on bag

A carry-on bag weighing up to 7kg (15lb) is permitted.

Checked bag

Baggage allowance differs depending on the route selected and operating airline(s). For baggage information that is specific to your selected journey, please select 'Baggage info' from the flight details section of the booking process, or refer to your electronic ticket.

Meals, drinks and inflight entertainment

Meal and beverages are provided.
TV, music, games and movies are included.

Note:

1. The fees are in the local currency of either the NZ or AU market, depending on the origin of the journey. If the booking was made in markets other than NZ or AU, the fees in NZ dollars will be converted to the local currency at time of change.

2. Full refund of unused tickets is permitted in the event of death of the passenger or his/her immediate family member or any person booked to accompany the passenger or the immediate family of any person booked to accompany the passenger. NB immediate family is defined by IATA Resolution 012 which states "Immediate Family": spouse, children (including adopted children), parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandchildren, parents-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law.
